Design Notes
This promoter should be inducible in target S. cerevisiae strains. However, the expression of GAL1 should be repressed with the presence of glucose. Therefore, when trying to express the downstream region of this promoter the S. cerevisiae should be cultured in nutrient-deficit environments.
